Josh Evans is a 17-year Netflix veteran with experience spanning e-commerce, video streaming services, infrastructure, tools, testing, support, and operations. Josh most recently led Operations Engineering at Netflix, a team committed to the continuous improvement of operational quality and infrastructure efficiency while enabling a high rate of product innovation. As a centralized function Operations Engineering created, integrated, and evangelized proven technical solutions and practices like continuous delivery, real-time monitoring, and chaos engineering. Since Josh’s departure from Netflix the Operations Engineering team has been re-factored but the philosophy & practices live on. Josh is currently taking time off, seeking new opportunities in the new future.
